Laudina Ahiable is a Registered Physiotherapist with further training in Pelvic floor Physiotherapy (aka Pelvic Health Physiotherapy) as well as Functional Dry needling. She is passionate about empowering patients with the tools and knowledge to improve their quality of life.
After obtaining a degree in Bachelor’s of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry at the University of Winnipeg, she pursued a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy (MScPT) from the University of Alberta.
With a wealth of expertise, Laudina has evaluated and treated an array of injuries encompassing musculoskeletal and athletic injuries, recovery following surgical procedures, neurological and pelvic health conditions, among others.
Laudina is of the opinion that evidence-based therapy, coupled with exercise therapy and hands-on treatment, is crucial for ensuring optimal patient recovery.
Her treatment philosophy combines several methods of treatment such as manual therapy techniques, personalized treatment plans, patient education as well as modalities to treat both the underlying cause and symptoms of a patient’s condition. Her objective is to establish a productive partnership between the patient and therapist to identify the patient’s goals and to restore optimal body, function, as well as enhance their quality of life.
As a mother and a wife, Laudina cherishes spending quality time with her young son and husband. In her leisure time, she enjoys discovering novel dining venues, particularly those with spicy cuisine, taking strolls, and indulging in movies and TV series.
